Introduction

We would like to inform you about the Culinary Olympics and World Cup in Luxembourg this November in the hope that you may like to attend to support the British national and regional teams.

The Culinary World Cup is one of the largest and most important cooking competitions in the world with excellent reputation. 30 national teams, 15 junior national teams and 15 teams in “Community Catering” (in part regional or military teams) will compete within five days and produce their three-course menus in one of the eight kitchens set up for the competition – often after months of rehearsals to ensure the success of the event.

Around 55 different nations from the five continents will be guests in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from 21st to 25th November 2026, celebrating a gastronomic festival that meets the highest standards: a world event in the halls of LUXEXPO THE BOX EXHIBITION CENTRE!

The Culinary World Cup is organised by WACS https://worldchefs.org/ and held at LUXEXPO THE BOX in Luxembourg https://expogast.lu/en/rak-culinary-world-cup-2026-en/

The UK and Ireland Chefs Supporters Club was established to encourage and assist family and friends of competing chefs in attending and supporting culinary competitions such as the WACS Culinary World Cup and the Culinary Olympics, typically held in Luxembourg and Germany. We also promote engagement with regional and national competitions by helping supporters stay informed and connected via social media and event updates.

Our efforts began in 2010 when we founded the UK Supporters Club for the Bocuse d’Or, supporting Chef Simon Hulstone—a contribution recognised by the British Culinary Federation.

The best way to get to LuxExpo The Box exhibition centre is to use the nationwide, completely free public transport system, including buses, trams, and trains, which requires no booking or tickets for second-class travel.

Luxembourg is a beautiful city and principality with lots of accommodation options, restaurants and bars.

The competing culinary teams will stay outside of Luxembourg as they usually need a larger hotel with banqueting facilities to use as a preparation room for their competition work. We recommend that you do not try and stay in the same hotel as the competitors as they work very long and unsociable hours and will not appreciate the interruptions.

Luxembourg is an easy place to travel to. Planes, trains, and automobiles. Booking early is recommended as the Culinary World Cup is a very big event and prices will increase a lot.

Did you know you can enjoy and eat the competition meals being prepared in Expogast? Pre purchase online a lunch or dinner ticket for your favourite team and receive a discount on your entrance ticket if arriving late.
